The course runs over a period of 6 months and is made up of core units assessed by means of work-based assignments. The assignments are assessed by a designated course c-ordinator in accordance with strict criteria laid down by City & Guilds.
They include areas such as selling and display techniques; legislation for the modern retail business and methods used to monitor and improve sales. It will include assessment in the workplace as well as tutorials and group work.
