Level 3 Certificate in Retail Operations
The course runs over a period of 6 months and is made up of three core units assessed by means of work-based assignments. The assignments are set and assessed by a designated course c-ordinator in accordance with strict criteria laid down by City & Guilds.
They include areas such as managing business and retail systems, impact of competiition and location; legislation for the modern retail business; methods used to monitor the retail environment, developing teams and training staff. It will include assessment in the workplace as well as tutorials and group work.
