Level 2 Diploma in Food and Beverage Service

  1. To achieve a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Food and Beverage Service, learners must attain a minimum of thirty seven credits
  • Fifteen credits from mandatory Group A
  • A minimum of three credits from optional Group B
  • A minimum of three credits from optional Group C
  • Remaining sixteen credits from groups B, C or D
  • Unit 920 must be chosen as one of the optional units
  1. Level 2 Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles (Food and Beverage Service); to achieve sixteen credits in total
  • Eight credits from the mandatory Group A
  • A least one credit from optional units Group B
  • At least one credit from optional Group C
  • The Remaining credits from optional Groups B,C OR D
  1. Key Skills to include
  • Application of Number Level 1
  • Communication Level 1
  1. Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (starts after 31 May 2011)
