Level 2 Diploma in Food Service

  1. To achieve a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Food Service, learners must attain a minimum of thirty seven credits
  • Fifteen credits from mandatory Group A
  • A minimum of eight credits from optional Group B (Food Service Units)
  • Remaining fourteen credits from groups B or C
  • Unit 920 must be chosen as one of the optional units
  1. Level 2 Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles (Food Service); to achieve this learners must achieve fourteen credits in total
  • Eight credits from mandatory Group A
  • At least one credit from Optional units Group B
  • The remaining credits from Groups B or C
  1. Key Skills to include
  • Application of Number Level 1
  • Communication Level 1
  1. Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (starts after 31 May 2011)
