The Directors would like to invite applications for the role of Quality Manager for the Bournemouth Centre.

Job Description

Reporting to : Managing Director

Purpose

To manage the training of our Learners across the region in order to achieve their agreed framework to the levels and standards set by Smart Training & Recruitment, the Awarding Bodies, Ofsted and the LSC.

Key Relationships

To build professional relationships with our Learners, their employers awarding bodies and other staff and Directors of Smart Training & Recruitment.

Key Tasks

  • Manage the training provision in line with the LSC contract and the quality standards of Smart Training and Recruitment, OFSTED and the Awarding Bodies.
  • Ensure that all Internal Verification / Quality Assurance of Learners is carried out in line with the Company’s Internal Verification Procedures and the standards set by our awarding bodies.
  • Maintain and build on existing and new employer relationships
  • Assist the Directors and the Business Improvement Manager in assessing the quality of our provision and developing strategies to improve upon weaknesses
  • Monitor & review the continued professional development of staff.
  • Monitor our Training provision to ensure equality of opportunity.
  • To ensure all information, personal, professional and commercial that is used in dealing with all Stakeholders, is in line with the Company’s Policies on Confidentiality and Data Protection.
  • To build and maintain existing and new relationships with all Smart’s Stakeholders.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner in line with the Company’s Code of Conduct and Policy Statements and Procedures.
  • Continually evaluate and assess all practices and performance, including self evaluation through the Company’s Appraisal Scheme.

Qualifications

  • A1, Assessor Award Qualification
  • V1 Internal Verification Award Qualification

Experience

At least two years experience of senior management within a training environment
